Magic Knight Rayearth

I can never give up cosplaying a series I love so much! There was a small Rayearth photo shoot planned for Katsucon 2008 so I pulled out my artbooks and picked a new Umi costume.
The toga was completely drapped and the armour was made from craftfoam. The cold weather made it very difficult to cast resin for the jewels. I had to cast them over. I loved working on the craft projects involved with this costume. The beading and work with silk flowers was so much fun.
